The Rashi School, Greater Boston’s Reform Jewish Independent School, serving students in grades Pre-K-8 seeks a Main Office Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year. Reporting to the Assistant Head of School for Academic Operations and Culture, the Main Office Coordinator will be a key member in the day to day operations of the school. Rashi’s Middle School seeks to promote students’ academic, social, and emotional growth by nurturing an environment that promotes risk taking, flexibility, adaptability, empathy, and resilience. We are looking for educators with a history of positive, caring student-teacher interactions, rich content expertise, and student-centered approaches to join a team of exceptional faculty who utilize a strength based approach to empower students to be their best selves in and out of the classroom. This is an 11 month position with a salary range of $25.00-$28.00/hour. Hours are 7:30 AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday. Benefits include generous time off, medical, dental and vision insurance, an opportunity to participate in the 403B plan, and free lunch daily. The preferred start date is August 3, 2026.
Position Responsibilities:
Main Office Coordination
Provide reception coverage – greeting visitors, answering phones, getting messages to teachers, etc.
Maintain inventory of main office supplies
Manage photocopiers and arrange for service
Distribute mail to faculty/staff mailboxes
Act as point person for master student list in event of emergency evacuation and/or lock down
Support the school’s facility reservation system, ensuring classrooms, conference rooms, and multipurpose spaces are booked accurately to prevent scheduling conflicts.
Transportation Support
Coordinate school transportation logistics, including communication with bus vendors and route management, for both daily routes and field trips
Maintain transportation rosters and communicate transportation information to families
Manage daily bus attendance lists
Assist Controller with transportation billing and operational logistics
Academic Program Support
Manage attendance reporting through Veracross
Radio deans to assist classrooms when needed
Track cellphones left in the main office due to a forgotten Yondr Pouch
Create reports as requested by authorized personnel such as schedules, class lists, faculty/staff directories, progress reports, and the Family Directory
Provide administrative assistance to classrooms, faculty, and Assistant Heads of School including advanced copying and collating of material
Provide administrative support for major academic and school events, including Staff Days, Professional Days, School Pictures, Back to School Night, Parent/Teacher Conferences, Family Education, Tribes, Drama Performances, ERBs, and Graduation
Create labels, student name tags, and playbills
Respond to district inquires for title grants
Provide school attending data reports to superintendents who request them
Order ERB testing materials

High school diploma with experience or associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace. Veracross is a plus
Administrative experience in a school or non-profit organization preferred
Physical Requirements:
Able to sit, stand, type, twist, bend.
Able to use telephone and computers.
Able to lift up to 15 lbs.
